Plant protection training and certification
Information about plant protection training and certification
The training leading to the Plant Protection Certificate lasts approximately four hours and follows the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry’s regulation on training ( link to the regulation-in finnish).
The certification exam consists of 20 true/false questions, with a passing score of at least 16 correct answers. The exam can be taken in Finnish, Swedish, or English. The training covers: legislation related to plant protection, risk identification and management, safe handling of plant protection products, integrated pest management, safe use of sprayers, recordkeeping, risks related to illegal and counterfeit plant protection products, and the use of biocides in agriculture.
The price: The base price for the training is €126/hour (incl. 25.5% VAT) when the venue is provided by the client. Additional costs, such as venue rental, material, or travel expenses, may apply.
Please notice: When the training is organized in collaboration with the client, the price is agreed separately. The price for the completed certificate provided as Lillukkametsä’s own service is €76 (incl. 25.5% VAT).
